Unreal 4 Oculus spatializer no attenuation

Hi,

I'm working on a VR project in Unreal 4 using Wwise. I'm trying the Oculus spatializer plugin for Wwise and I can't seem to figure out how to manage the attenuation. There's nothing in the documentation about this. When I set the Wwise attenuation to none the sound plays and is spatialized but has an infinite range. When I activate an attenuation curve the sound doesn't play at all. The AKAmbientSound attenuation "multiplier" doesn't seem to have any effect either.

Wwise : 2014.1.3, build 5219

Unreal : 4.8.0
