Good morning,

I'm making a game using Wwise and Unity 4.5.5 and I have troubles updating my soundbank.

When I started the project, I had difficulties to make Unity recognize the soundbank.

I was at the time very new with Wwise and so I generated it to several directories, using the "override soundbank paths" in Wwise and configuring the path in the "Wwise Settings" of Unity until the game engine could find it. So as you can guess, there were several soundbanks within the Streaming Assets folder and because of my mistakes it was difficult to understand which was the good one.

Yesterday I wanted to clean it and so I checked what was the soundbank used by Unity, deleted the files of the old soundbanks not used anymore, and generated a new one into the Streaming Assets folder using the default Wwise hierarchy (Audio/GeneratedSoundbanks). I changed the soundbanks path in unity aswell with the "Wwise settings".

Unity could find the new soundbank and displayed it into the Wwise picker. But each time I tried to call an event of it, I got the message "ID not found". However there were still sounds and I noticed Unity keep calling an old version of the soundbank which didn't exist anymore ! I tried to refresh, and tested even to delete the whole "audio" folder but unity keep calling that old soundbank and the new one was still visible in the wwise picker, yet ignored by Unity ingame.

Do you think it could be a cache problem or a xml file that has not been overwritten ? I tried a lot of things but unsuccessfully.

Thank you very much for your help,

Regards,

Adrien
