No audio in Mac version of Wwise Authoring Tool.

When I play a sound in Wwise running on Mac OSX, the meters and the Advanced Profiler report that it is playing fine but I cannot hear it. Any ideas?

Under User Preferences (Shift+U), make sure the "Audio System" is set to "Detect" or "DirectSound"
