What's the most effective way to use the "FOCUS" parameter of attenuation?

Hi there.

I'm trying to find out a way to use the "Focus" params in the attenuation settings.

I've already known how does it works: the converse effect of "Spread", right?

If it's wrong, please teach me the correct effect.

 

Besides above, I'd like to know some good examples of use this params.

If you have any example, please let me know.
