Hey there,

In Wwise, I would like to combine, say, on of 6 varieties of piano tunes of 4 bars long with on of 2 drum varieties of 4 bars long randomly. Is this possible? And if yes, how?

So long,

Yes, it is possible.

You need to set your Tracks to random, and add variations to it:

  • Right click the track header (left of track)
  • Select Random Step as the mode
  • Right click again the track header
  • Select Add Sub-Track
  • Repeat last step for each variation

Now every time you play the segment, a sub-track will be selected randomly.
