Having a few issues with streaming setting i put on VO's for a project we are working on in Unreal 4. VO's have all been moved from Unreal to Wwise recently.

VO's have been imported as Voice Assets.

All VO's are being called from a list in a .csv files that calls out the specific file names so appart from creating specific events for all these VO's i did not put anything in Wwise

What we are trying to figure out is why they don't play in streamed "mode". Is it because of localization settings, can VO's be streamed ?

When streamed they would not be generated from the sound back, so where are they generated from ?

Documentation regarding streaming files other than music is limited or i have not been able to find it...

Any help ?

We have the same problem on our Unity project - the Voice Assets can be played when they are loaded into memory, but if we check the "Stream" checkbox and export the soundbank again, the sounds go silent. Using the Wwise profiler, we can see the error message "Selected child not available" which means the event works but the sound it is referencing can't be found: https://www.audiokinetic.com/library/edge/?source=Help&id=selected_child_not_available_selected_node_not_available

Did you solve this, and if so - how?
