I'm starting to work in Unity on a really simple iOS audio app that will deal with soundscapes. I really need for it to be able to run in the background. My question is: is it possible for an app developed in Unity to continue to play audio (overriding other music apps like Music or Spotify) while in the background? I know that Wwise supports this feature through the AkAudioSessionCategoryPlayAndRecord (as explained here) but I don't know if Unity will allow this behavior. Do any of you ever tried to do something similar with Unity? Or with other game engines? Any suggestion would be much appreciated.

Thanks! :)

Thank you Parth. Yes, I know about those Unity commands. I tried to create a simple Unity project using those commands and wasn't able to achieve my goal, but I'm not a programmer so I might be missing something.
