Hello,

I’d like to increase dynamically the attenuation distance for a 3D sound. So the microphone can hear the sound from a longer distance.

For the moment, it's impossible to control it with an RTPC. But do you know if it's possible with another way ?

Thank you !

AK::SoundEngine::SetScalingFactor

will set the attenuation scale on the sound object but that isn't individual sounds playing from the same sound object everything gets scaled.

Hi, my colleague and myself would like to do the same thing too.

This message has been posted in Nov 2015... Has anything been updated since?

From Audiokinetic Support: It is possible to scale the Max distance of an Attenuation by using the AK::SoundEngine::SetAttenuationScalingFactor function: https://www.audiokinetic.com/library/2015.1.2_5457/?source=SDK&id=namespace_a_k_1_1_sound_engine_a3957e0ab1f12412635db314d3faa0177.html.
