My Unity programmer doesn't know Wwise at all, is this a problem?

Is there Wwise-speciifc type code that he will need to know? Or should he be able to work just fine - only knowing general Unity programming?

He should probably read the Wwise/Unity integration docs, but if he is familiar with Unity and knows his C# it shouldn't be overwhelming.
