Wwise integration of UE4.10 without needed Visual Studio 2015/source code?

When i last contacted Audiokinetic, i was having troubles with getting visual studio 2015 working to build UE4.9 via the source code. i was told to wait for 4.10 since it would have an easier integration process (something along the lines of a plug in style) how much of this is true? will we have to avoid going through softwares like visual studio to get Wwisev2015.1.2 working with UE4.10? and if so, will there be some kind of video tutorial showing how to integrated it?
