Footsteps and Noise - Limbo

Hi,

In the original session,when the player runs, three actions are triggered: play footsteps, play noise, and play breathings. However, there is one section where the boy runs under a cave and there's only noise (no sounds from the "run" folders). With all my new ambience sounds, I can't hear the noise and it looks as if the boy's steps didn't have any sound at all, but I can't put up the volume because then the other footsteps on the other surfaces will sound very loud and unbalanced. Is there anything I can do?

Hi,

Limbo uses RTPC curves to control the volume of footsteps throughout various parts of the game. I would suggest that you look at the RTPC tab of the footstep you want to manipulate and modify the volume curve appropriately.

Note that you can also monitor the value of any RTPC in real-time by using remote connection and the Game Object Profiler.
