(iOS game) Unity integration Windows Mac in version control

So it's all good and well when the Windows and Mac integration is installed on the project (i.e. both OS could develop/run the game without errors).

But we're trying to build an iOS game, and the iOS integration package clashes badly with the Widows integration package. I believe I'm not the first to encounter this problem, is there anyway other than exclusively installing the iOS package on Macs that are building the game and ignoring them on version control? Since that opens another can of worms where I need to stop the iOS integrated machine to not pull the Windows integration, and vice versa. And I don't know what to ignore exactly.

We have an iOS game project, and have the Mac,Windows, and iOS integrations all installed side-by-side.
