Is there a way to limit re-trigger rate of a particular sound?

When simultaneously picking up multiple items in-game, Wwise doubles the sample - and effectively the amplitude. Rather than setting a playback limit, I would ideally like to delay any additional samples from triggering if another one has been triggered within the past 0.25 sec.

Is that something that Wwise is able to handle, or will I need Engineering's support on this one?
