Hi,

I would like to have control over which sub-track is played when choosing random step in a music segment.

The overal goal is to be able to manually choose which tracks from three instruments will play.

E.g. Instrument one (track2), Instrument two (track 1) and Instrument three (track 4) and be able to change the track numbers from unity.

thanks

With 2013.2.x and previous, it's not possible to select the sub tracks.  It either random or sequence.

With 2014.1 (next version), you will be able to bind a Music Track to a Switch Container, and select the Music Sub Track from the selected switch, set by the game.

For now, you will need to implement a system using the Music Switch Container.

related feature to this would be for two segment tracks (say drums and Bass) to have their sub-tracks random but linked to each other i.e. if the sub-track order for drums is 1,3,6,3, then the bass track would match that.  This is very helpful when there several tracks with variations and you want the rhythm section, or unison melodies to stay in sync (yet varied) :)     thanks,  -guy
