Hello everyone,

I for the life of me can not get Wwise to use my audio interface for playback.  It will play out through the HDMI out to my screens speakers if I fire up Wwise with my interface off.  It still chooses to play through HDMI even with my audio/midi settings set to only use my scarlett 18i20. I have tried setting the "Audio System" within Wwise to DirectSound and Detect with the same results. I'm hopefully overlooking something really obvious and would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Does your system play audio via the Focusrite ?

it's a good thing to setup User Preferences -> Sound Engine - >"Detect".

You could also check if your Audio menu is set with "System Default Channel Configuration"

Make sure you restart Wwise after you change the sound engine config.

I use a Focurite Saffire 26 i/o and it works great.

Thank you for the tip!
I had to change the default "Detect" setting to "DirectSound" to get sound. Working fine now!
