Playback Speed of Music Segment

It would be awesome if the Playback Speed of a music segment could have the option to use time stretching to keep the pitch intact.

Was a solution ever implemented for this?  I want to be able to control and change the playback speed of a music track dynamically using RTPC, but without changing the pitch of the track.  There doesn't seem to be a way to do this atm.
