A click track would be immensly helpful and indispensible while aligning and editing sounds within music segments and playlists.

Especially as the visual scroll is often out of sync with sound when larger lookup times (user presfs) are used/needed for smooth playback.

Did you know you can set the Ruler to be in Bars and Beats as opposed to Seconds.

  • In Segment Editor
  • Right-click the Ruler control
  • From menu, select Bars and Beats

From there, you can also use the snap to Bars/Beats button to align clips on the bars or beats.

Does it help?

Yes, I use snap to bars/beats quite a lot, and that's excellent.  But when lining up a few to several stems within a segment, having an audible click would be extremely helpful; especially when the visual scroll doesn't sync perfectly with the music.
