Altering Attenuation's 'Max distance': Options 'Strech' and 'Perserve X' ?

Hello,

Is there a reason, why the options 'Stretch' and 'Perserve X' shouldn't be also applicable on Attenuations' Max distance? It would be a very useful option in my view.
