I chose the Microsoft HRTF plugin to install when I integrated 2016.2.3.6077 into Unity 5.6.0f3. The documentation says, "The MS HRTF plug-in is meant to be inserted on a bus". When I look at the effects on the Master Audio Bus, that plugin does not appear. I followed the information set out here  https://www.audiokinetic.com/library/edge/?source=Help&id=ms_hrtf_plug_in but still no plug in.

I ultimately want to use the MS HRTF Spatializer that comes with Unity 5.6 to spatialize the audio coming from Wwise.

It seems that the only way to get access to the MS HRTF is to create a new Wwise project that includes that plugin. Then create a new unity project. Move your wwise project inside the folder that your unity project is created in. Then through the Wwise launcher, choose integrate wwise into Project and select your newly created wwise project in the options.

You will not get access to MS HRTF if you allow the wwise launcher to create the wwise project for you even if you select the plugin while doing that.
