I have 2 sounds. One is a wind background ambience and the other is some wind through bushes. The voice volume of the wind through bushes is being controlled by an RTPC set by a Wwise Meter on the background ambience. This all works in Wwise Authoring, but the RTPC never gets updated in UE4. I've added the object to the watchlist and verified in the authoring tool that the RTPC never changes from the default value (unless I manually change it while profiling).

Any idea what could be causing this? Where can I start to look for a solution?

I've posted in the Unreal forums as well, but I'm still looking for some help with this. If it's any help, I'm using UE4.14 and Wwise 2016.2.2
I never found a fix for this, and the problem has come up again. This time we're trying to setup side-chain ducking with the Wwise Meter. Same thing. Works in the authoring tool but not in the game. This time it's not a creative thing I can live without. It's mixing and it's critical.

I'm setting RTPCs all over the place in this game without any trouble. Does anyone have any idea why Wwise Meter wouldn't update RTPCs?

I'm getting desperate here...

I revisited it a few months later and it was working. Not sure what was different. Sorry I can't be more help.
Are you sure it's the same AK Component that gets the RTPC and that has the sound? I've had a couple of issues with that in the beginning, that even tho the AK Component is on the same actor, you need to be specify exactly which component it's located on.

To test, you can get a reference of the AK Component that is being used and then drag a pin out of that to create a new RTPC.
Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it.
