Integration Error: An Error Occurred During The Creation Of The New Wwise Project

I am just starting out using Wwise and Unreal.

I am having issues integrating Wwise 2016.2.4.6098 with Unreal 4.16. I am using a MacBook Pro with Mac OSX Sierra 10.12.5

When using the Wwise Launcher to "Integrate Wwise into Project" feature i will get through all the steps and execute the Integrate command in the window and within 30 secs i will get the following error message:

Operation Completed With An Error

An Error Occurred During The Creation Of The New Wwise Project

Thus far basic troubleshooting found regarding integration has not helped, i am really at a loss as to how i resolve this issue.

Has anyone else come across this before?
