How to keep loop from unwanted retriggering?

I have some loops that play with no issues when I play through this game the first time. However, when I restart the game, the loop will get through almost three measures before starting over, which is obviously unwanted. Eventually, it will fix itself and play fine for a while, then go back to the weird relooping issue. I'm not sure what is causing this issue, if it's something in WWISE or in the game itself. Any help would be appreciated.
