microsoft visual c++ 2008

Good day

I seem to be facing the same challenges as Matthew M..

I have installed DirectX on to my machine and reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ 2008.

But Wwise still won’t install, the setup displays an error massage stating…Microsoft visual C++ 2008 failed to download or copy the package: The system cannot find the file specified.

Am i missing somthing or am i doing somthing wrong? Could anyone please help, as I am seeking to learn the software.
