Unity build for Linux has no sound (libsdl installed)

So, as the title says, I'm trying to deploy my game for Linux, but, though the log says the Wwise engine is correctly initiated (or at least it looks like), the game is completely mute and is not even listed among the applications producing sounds in the Ubuntu settings.

I installed the most recent version of libsdl (sudo apt-get libsdl or something like that) but that seems not to be enough... Any suggestion? I'm using Unity 2017.1 and testing the builds on Ubuntu 17.04 x64.

Also, the documentation is still stuck at Ubuntu 12.04... as the most recent version is 17.04, maybe it's time to update the documentation? :)
