 Getting the message : "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor." when trying to install the Wwise Launcher. Recent Download.

Tried:

Run Un-installer + Manually deleting all Wwise/Audiokinetic files I could locate
Re-Downloading installer
Run as admin
Re-start installer services
Re-Register and restart installer services
Software Update
Re-Boot with above steps, etc..

Any help appreciated.

Seems to have been a Windows issue. Downloaded latest installer. Tried to run and failed. Tried to run an Adobe installer and that failed also! Got frustrated and started to kill background processes via Task Manager. Installs started working.
