Downgrading Wwise unity implementation not completing.

We rolled back our unity version to 2017.2 from 2017.3
We got a ton of errors with our wwise integration, so we try the Upgrade and Modify Options of the wwise wizard.
The Upgrade option ends with an error, something about missing a wizard.
The Modify option never completes. (24 hours and counting)

Does anyone know what is going on?
