Is it possible to create custom layouts within Wwise?

For specific implementation I need to modify the designer layout, in order to get the desired view for quick editing. I was hoping to save my own templates and name them accordingly.

Thanks,

Alex

You can modify the 8 pre-defined layouts as you wish. The changes are saved automatically when closing Wwise. You can't however rename them.

For advanced users only:

When you change the layout, the changes are saved in:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Audiokinetic\Wwise\Layouts\1\Modified Factory Layouts

You can backup this directory and create several layout sets.  You will need manage which files are loaded by swapping files in the Modified Factory Layouts directory.  Close and restart Wwise every time you change the files.

Yup that solved it, thanks! Keeping a template folder in Modified Factory Layouts/ with custom layouts and swapping when I need.
this technique works but is really not practical. seems like being able to save your custom layouts like in most software would be the way to go
totally agree... better than anything at all tough.
hope audiokinetic add this feature soon!
