In the game I'm working on there is a camera rewind effect, where you start to play over again. Is it possible to record all the gameplay audio AND to use that audio in reverse at the same time? I'm trying to avoid a "rewind" sound effect, it would be much better to reverse the real audio.

It should record during gameplay (which takes 10 seconds per match only) and, after that match finishes, it should play all that recorded audio in reverse.

To my knowledge there would be no way to natively do this within Wwise. However, it is something you could definetly implement as a plugin inserted as an effect on a bus. This could be driven by several RTPC's for instance, which would initiate recording and playing back the audio.

Yeah, that would be an option then. But, since each game match lasts about 10 seconds, I might try to create a pool to store the audio events that I'd like to ear during the rewind process. Then, by using a Switch, I could select if those events should be played as normal or in reverse (I would also use pre-baked sounds in reverse).
