So I've determined the cause of the culprit of the installation error. It's caused by Microsoft error 1603 and 1722. I have tried the solutions that Microsoft support offers but so far no avail.

In your %temp% directory, there should be a file finishing with Authoring_Data.msi.log, similar to:

Audiokinetic_Wwise_v2013.2.8_build_4865_20140811231723_0_Authoring_Data.msi.log

Can you also send it?
