Perforce plugin crashing 2018.1

Hey All,

Just upgraded our project and integration to 2018.1 but the authoring tool is crashing when attempting to configure the Perforce plugin.  Just wondering if this is unique to our situation or if others are having the same problem.  Our server is SSL and the exact client config worked fine with 2017.x.x  The crash happens immediately when the plugin attempts to connect.  Any info or confirmation of similar symptoms would be appreciated :-)

2018.1.1 was released and includes a fix for it.

There are also 2 workarounds:

  • In Wwise User Preferences: Disable HI DPI, and restart Wwise
  • Change the Windows display setttings to scale text, app and other to 100%

I inherited this computer from a client so it also addressed why everything looked so zoomed in :-)
