Requirement of .akd files?

Is there a way to delete, or not create these files?

Makes checking into source control messy.

Hi Stuart, in the Authoring under Project > User Preferences > Background Processing, you can disable the Generation of AKD files.I would also suggest you to read that blog article of version control best practice in Wwise: https://blog.audiokinetic.com/version-control-a-wwise-project/ The AKD files do not need to be added to version control. Hope this helps !
