SoundBank generation failed: could not open the Wwise SoundBank definition file.

Hello,

This question has been previously asked, but the offered answer does not work for me.

I am attempting to follow this tutorial:

I have named my soundbank "Main_Soundbank" in Wwise, and have created an "audiokinetic bank" asset with the same name. When I try to generate the banks in UE4, it does not work.

I am using UE4 4.21.2 and Wwise 2018.1.5.6835.1218

What's going wrong here?

Hello from the far future.

I'm going to assume that you've solved it by now but just in case anyone else is struggling.

For me, I just simply continued in the tutorial and found that after I chose my event from the 'WwisePicker' (Should be in Window/WwisePicker) I could afterwards refresh all the banks by right clicking my bank and choosing Refresh all Banks and then go to Build/GenerateSoundBanks. This is working as of Unreal 4.19 and as of Wwise 2018.1.10.6964.
