Hi,

I am having problems deploying my Unity + Wwise game to Windows. On our dev machines, everything works fine - but any users who have not installed wwise who try to play get these errors:

Fallback handler could not load library C:/Games/Grave Days/Grave Days_Data/Mono/libAkSoundEngine
Plugins: Failed to load 'C:/Games/Grave Days/Grave Days_Data/Plugins/AkSoundEngine.dll' with error 'The specified module could not be found.

The AkSoundEngine.dll is there, but for some reason it does not load. As per other suggestions, we've tried installing DirectX runtime but that did not resolve the issue.

If anyone has any suggestions for me I'd be very appreciative.

I managed to resolve the issue.

I'm not sure what's wrong in my build configuration but Unity was copying in the debug build DLLs instead of release build DLLs. The debug build DLLs have extra dependencies which may not be installed on some user's PCs (which is likely the case if they are not devs).
