Hello all and thank you for taking the time to read this.

I am implementing my original music in WAG as a demo-reel project.

I implemented my enemy music using the combat level RTPC controlling voice volume. (my best solution so far)

I am running into an issue that somehow only happens around 80% of the time:

When initiating combat, multiple instances of the enemy music playlist container seem to be triggered on top of one another, leading to an unpleasant yet interesting cacophony.

Being somewhat of a rookie I am not fully able to understand the cause of this issue in the profiler. I was suspecting the issue to be rooted in the transition between the music playlist container, yet when I deleted all but one of them the problem persisted.

What is making it hard is that sometime it works fine, as intended. Which leads me to believe (future proves me otherwise) I have fixed it with one of my many attempt at a solution.

I loaded and reloaded many times, and have failed to identify a constant that could be the culprit.

Has anyone ever ran into a similar issue or have any toughs on this problem of mine?

Once again I greatly appreciate you taking the time to help.

(I hope I am posting this in an appropriate location)

Hey Joseph,

Glad to hear you're using WAG for your demo-reel :)

Hmm... Sounds really strange with the inconsistency. How did you implement the music? Did you use the predefined Music_Enemies Event? If so, have you made sure that the Music Segments are exactly the same length as the Music_Region Music Segments? I'm asking because the region music is set up to call the enemy music each time it loops. There's more about that here: https://www.audiokinetic.com/courses/wwise301/?source=wwise301&id=Synchronizing_Music_Systems#read

Otherwise, you can try to set the enemy music to loop, then reset the Wwise-Type 'Enemy Music Event" property located the Managers game object > GameManager script, and finally, add an AkEvent on the Manager game object (set it to trigger on Start) and select the Music_Enemies Event there. This way, the region music would not be posting the enemy music from the GameManager automatically, but instead, you would be posting the Event separately.

Hope this helps! Let us know whether this helps
