Hi there,

I'm wondering if there's a list of known bugs/issues inside WAG Unity/Wwise projects.

I'm trying to finish sound design/interactive music for it, but it seems there's tons of inaccuracies, sometimes screwing things up completely, especially in the final boss scene, indeed throughout the game, including menu behavior.

Identifying the bugs and separate them from what I myself might do wrong would be of great help for a Wwise unexperienced user with no foundations in scripting like I am at this stage.

Working from PC - Unity version: 2017.4.3f1 - Wwise version: 2017.2.9

Thanks in advance!

Hey Paolo,

Sorry to hear that you are having problems. You are welcome to post any problem you get here on the Audiokinetic Q&A and I will try to help you with it. Just copy and paste whatever you see in the console or describe in steps how you got the problem.

We are aware that there are a few non-harmful warnings once you open it for the first time, but there should not be any bugs or showstoppers once downloading a fresh version from the Launcher unless something went wrong once opening the project for the first time.
And for screwing things up completely, I'm afraid that will always be at risk once playing around with a source project like this. The thing is... by opening the WAG source project, you enter dangerous territories where a misclick might remove a vital component from some game object. So unless you know where that happened, it's sometimes just better to re-download WAG or reloading the scene. That is also one of the reasons we have all certification scenes prepared in separate scenes so that if anything happens while following the certification, you can just download the project again and start from the beginning of that section.

Hope this makes sense!
