Hello,

I use "medialess" banks as I handle the sound data in a slightly peculiar way in the game engine I'm using.

Do you think being able to still keep the prefetch data in that kind of banks could become an option? It would make it easier as otherwise every resource would have to be twofold (split between the prefetch and the actual streamable bit).

Thanks!

prefetch is included as a result of media inclusion - so in your example of a bank with events/structures and another bank with media the bank with the media would contain the prefetch data and a .wem file on disc would contain the remainder.

in order to see the contents of any soundbank go to the soundbanks view ( F7 ) select the bank and click the details tab. this will show you what is included in the bank and there is a column showing you the number of bytes of prefetch data included in the bank.

hope that helps
