SoundBank Editor issue: cannot add events

The SoundBank Editor exists, however, the area and buttons within the editor to actually add events does not show up. Using MacOS Mojave with the newest version of Wwise 2019.1.4.7065. Was having issues with this on High Sierra and Wwise 2019.1.3.7048 so I tried updating; this made it worse..
