I have been wondering that for a while, not that I currently mind however.

Hi @Frederic S.,

This behavior was recently brought to our attention and we are working on fixing it.
In the meantime you could change the file-application association. To do so, and assuming Windows as your OS:

  • Right click on a .wproj file and select "Properties" 
  • Next to "Opens with" click on "Change"
  • Browse to your installed Wwise.exe and select it
