Error message when integrating Wwise project into Unreal 4

I’m wondering if anyone can help me with a Wwise/Unreal 4 query. I’m trying to integrate Wwise into and Unreal 4 project for the first time, using the Wwise launcher. When I select integrate Wwise into project, I get the error message “An error during the creation of the new Wwise project”.
I’ve checked that all of the appropriate SDK files are being integrated but I still get this error message. I’m using a MAC (OS 10.14.6, Wwise 2019 2.5 and Unreal 4.24.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
