Hi everyone, I'm new to game audio and I'm having an issue playing any audio from Wwise 2019.2.5 in Unreal Engine 4.25.3. I'm running macOS Catalina.

I've followed the integration steps and everything is working fine. I've been following the Audiokinetic learning documentation and have created events for my sound effects, and have generated sound banks. I can see these banks and events in the WwiseAudio folder that was generated in my Unreal Project (FPS Demo).

However, after following tutorials step by step, I still can't hear anything. Whether it's simply adding some ambience, or adding AnimNotify_AKEvent's to animations, I do everything exactly as shown but there is no sound. I can hear the original gun shot for the tennis ball projectile, but nothing that I add myself. I am also remembering to generate sound data, but still nothing. Any ideas?

I'm wondering if I am missing a simple step, or if this is an issue with the most recent versions of either Wwise or Unreal. Any help much appreciated.

Hi Matthew,

We just added this to our documentation - https://www.audiokinetic.com/library/2019.2.12_7544/?source=UE4&id=gs_footstep_sounds.html
Maybe it will be helpful to compare those steps to what you did.

Let us know how it goes.
