Hi,

I'm using Wwise 2019.1.2.7018 for a project and noticed an issue. Whenever I try to load this version of Wwise, be it through the launcher or just opening it from Finder, it seems to instantly crash (like it doesnt open at all, no error messages, just a quick screen flash). I've not tried all versions of Wwise, but the latest version does work - not this version though.

A colleague of mine is having the same issue (same wwise version, catalina) , so I know it's not just me.

I read a post on here about some issues with MacOS Catalina and some potential fies, but none of the fixes can be applied here.

Has anyone else had this issue or know where I'm going wrong?

Thanks!

It also comes up with this window for about 0.01 seconds (I had to take a video to grab it) Not sure what it means or is referring to? its been the same before and after a reboot+complete wwise reinstallation.

Hey Lewis,

Unfortunately, you'll probably have to update your Wwise project to a newer minor version (2019.1.x). At least Wwise 2019.1.7, but I'd advise going all the way to 2019.1.10, so you'll have all the latest bug fixes. As long as it's a minor version upgrade, you should be quite safe doing so.

Let us know how it goes.
