Wwise won't start on Mac after the latest Wwise Launcher update

Hey,

After I upgraded to the latest Wwise Launcher and Wwise 2019.2.8 I have had massive problems starting Wwise. I have to spam the start Wwise button and if I'm lucky it is going to start 10+ instances, but 95% of the cases it will not start. It doesn't matter if I try from the launcher, from the .proj file or anywhere else. When I use the Launch Wwise from the Wwise tab, it opens "Wwise" but not the program it self. I've tried removing everything I could find related to Wwise and the Wwise launcher and reinstalled, but it doesn't fix the problem.

Im running on a MacBook Pro OS 10.14.6.

Could you provide a link to an older version of the Launcher, so that I can test if is in fact the new Launcher that is causing the problem?

It's possible the environment that Wwise runs in might be corrupted. You can delete the directory "/Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Application Support/Wwise2019".

Once that is done, locate Wwise.app (usually located at "/Applications/Audiokinetic/Wwise 2019.2.8.7423/Wwise.app" if you used the standard installation location) and launch it from there a single time (the first launch takes time, due to initialization on the Crossover side for recreating the aforementioned directory).
