failed installation of Wwise in windows

Hello! I tried to installing Wwise on my pc in Windows but it say "Installation failed: error installing prerequisites" but in a Mac at my work place the installation worked. Why ? can someone help me ? Thanks

Could you share the log file with us? There should be a button just below the error message.

By any chance, does it show error 404 anywhere? The Launcher is trying to download DX runtime directly from the MS site and MS pulled that download a few weeks ago. Somehow, the runtime does not get detected as installed on some machines making that download a requirement. I had to look for an alternative place to get the right runtime and install it outside of the Launcher.
