Seeking a MIDI file

I am trying to seek inside a MIDI file but nothing seems to work.

I have a music segment that includes a MIDI file and I created a Play event for this container. When I add a seek command before the play in that event, it doesn't get applied. Is there another way to do this? I could do it via code too but it doesn't work.
