Wwise launcher stuck on "Initializing. Connecting to server..."

Hey there!

I've been having problems all week using the Wwise launcher, resulting in me not being able to install or load wwise at all. The start screen is permanently displaying "Retrieving information from server..."
If I go on the Wwise tab and hit "Install" I get the same thing, and sometimes a weird error on a red background ("Could not retrieve information from server (TypeError: Cannot read property 'entryState' of undefined)").

I tried logging out, creating a different account, logging back in, and I also tried reinstalling and rebooting; but no luck so far.

Any idea on how to get past this? I really need to get working on this project and can't find any way forward at the moment- any help would be very much appreciated!

Alternatively, in case this is a problem with the Wwise launcher itself, maybe an older version of the launcher would solve the issue? Or a way of downloading the specific version of Wwise that I need?

Hi Christian,

Login should not have any effect on receiving from the server. Did you read this post?

Otherwise, could you send us your Launcher log once you get that error? You'll find it in About Wwise Launcher.

Thanks for the swift response -- this seems to have solved the issue.

And apologies for the duplicate post, I somehow managed to miss the other post you linked to.
