Hi !

I'm looking for an explanation on how to integrate RTPCs into Unity without using the SDK.

I have an RTPC in my wwise project, but I can't seem to figure out how to access it and use it in Unity. Is there any documention or examples on how to do that within Unity?

Thanks!

You will need to set your RTPC from a script, using:

AkSoundEngine.SetRTPCValue("YourRTPC", floatValue, gameObject);

Unfortunately, there is no way of setting an RTPC without writing code.

Thanks for the answer.
I'm perfectly fine scripting in unity, in C# and java. But in the unity Wwise Unity Integration help, it's mainly focusing on using the SDK.
Your script line is a very good start for me, so thank you very much ! But I imagine then there are no Unity scripting examples of RTPC usage ?

Thanks again for all the help

Arnaud
You're right, we provide no example of RTPC usage, but we are working on integrating an example in the Wwise Demo Scene in the future.

If you're fine with scripting, you should know that the AkSoundEngine class is simply a C# wrapper for the Wwise SDK, so you can refer to the SDK's documentation for more information. You can also look at the IntegrationDemo sample provided with the SDK for more examples.
Thanks a lot. I managed to get it all working in the end thanks to your help. Onto the next question ! :)
