I'm using Wwise for a game made in Unity targeted desktop computers (Windows and macOS).

We have a lot of cutscenes in the game. The visuals of them are rendered by Unity, but audio playback is done through Wwise. This works well, except if the focus is lost of the game-app. In that case, the visuals of the cutscenes will keep playing, but the audio will be paused.

When returning to focus, the audio will resume and now be out of sync with the visuals.

Is it possible to make Wwise keep on playing, no matter if the build game-app is in focus or not?

I've googled and tried the suggestions here - but they don't seem to help: https://forum.unity.com/threads/keep-audio-playing-with-focus-lost.327938/

Any advice would be very appreciated!
