Hello,
I have worked a little bit with Cube. I was wondering both if there are other types of games that are relatively easy to mod / what is the next step for an audio mod after working with cube? I know cube was easy because it's easily integrated with Wwise and it was a .bat file you work with as opposed to working with a game engine, which obvioulsy gets more involved. I'm relatively new at audio implementation, and am just looking for some more information / tutorials on how to do audio mods on exisiting games similar to the way it was done with Cube and if that is possible to do with something such as CryEngine or other engines. For example, would there be a way to just load a part of the game into the engine / sandbox that has no audio and then gradually add audio and be able to test my work?
Sorry for the wordy question but I hopefully some of what I am trying to do makes sense. If anyone can point me towards some other sources / tutorials / information about doing audio mods with Wwise that would be awesome.
Thanks!
