Hello,

In lesson 1 you are told to be connect to the remote platform and have the cube running in the background. Which seems to creates problem for my computer, that aside.  

When I attempt to complete and generate in the sound manager, it will not allow me to do so with the cube running or being connected from the remote platform. I cannot get the Generate Selected or Generate ALL highlighted at all.

That said when I dump out these i.e. the cube and disconnect the remote platform;  I can generate the selected sounds and it seem to work, until I reopen cube and the game to play and test the wizard blast,  sadly :( I get no sound.

I have checked and rechecked the pathway, I have deleted and started over and get the same results.

I hope this makes sense.

Any thoughts? Thank you for the help.

Generating SoundBanks while connected to the game is not a supported feature: the workflow is instead to generate SoundBanks, launch the game (sound should be present) and then connect Authoring application to the running game. From there, modifications in the project will be applied to the game as well for the duration of the profiling session.

Check the Capture Log for errors if you have sound missing in your game, yet you successfully generated the SoundBanks and connected to the game.
