I have an Unreal project and a Wwise project that are both versioned under Perforce. The Unreal project already has a working project-level integration accomplished via the Wwise Launcher. However, I would like to change this to an Engine plugin. I thought I could just delete the <ProjectName>\Plugins\Wwise  directory but I keep getting fatal errors trying to recompile UE4.

This begs the question, one that I've been unable to find online: What exactly does the Wwise Launcher do when perform a UE4 project integration? I've done an engine implementation before and that documentation thorough enough that the end user can tell exactly what changes are being made to the game engine, which I love.

For project level integrations though using the Wwise launcher, the documentation is woefully tight-lipped about exactly what files are being added or changed where. Is there a definitive list of all the changes made to an UE4 project after integrating via the Wwise Launcher? Is there some link I'm missing?
